Supported Video Cards
Tanarus supports a wide selection of video cards and chipsets. Below is a list of card manufacturers, specifiying which model of video card we've tested, and the driver version. Links are also available to download the latest drivers. The list, which will grow as we conduct more testing, only shows the cards we've officially tested under Tanarus, along with the specific driver used. A particular card's absence from the list does not mean it's not supported by Tanarus. We'll continue to add to this list as we test more video cards.

Chipsets that are Direct 3D compliant are labeled, and any cards listed under it are capable of running in 3D hardware mode.

Please note that Tanarus requires DirectX 5 or greater in order to run. Click here to download DirectX. The core version does not include updates to the video and audio drivers -- it is highly recommended that you get updates for your videocard and soundcard from the respective manufacturer.
